Re: what airbox and filters
Well my daily driver had an ebay kit fitted when I first got it (The filter is one when cut in half would look like a "W"), still had the resonator fitted as well. Now I've put the OEM airbox back, with an OEM filter (Still with the resonator in place) it's near impossible to feel any difference. Though I'm sure once I to have fitted a K&N filter and the flow rate has increased she'll be a little more responsive.
Funny you should say that about bikes, with mine I've always kept the standard boxes as the other aftermarket cones etc for it make it use more fuel and they become sluggish, I've always just bought a k&n filter.littlefeller wrote:once original box and filter fitted, let us know what you find on driving it again personaly i dont really like aftermarket filters always found with bike engines they run better with the original box on there, brought so many with cone filters fitted and had to swap them back, always found the engine more responsive once converted back again and as a bonus better mpg too
Didn't think to use the same principal.. oops.
