I know someone who bought a card without reading the inside properly. The front said "I love you more than chocolate", the inside left page had gaffer tape covering something, and the right page said "happy valentines day". I didn't ask what the gaffer tape was hiding

Me and the mrs don't do cards, won't give in to the comercialisation of it.

Just set a limit of £5 to get something small.

Last week she was reading a magazine and there was an article with a picture of a tiger looking all cute so she asked if she could have one for valentines, to which I replied "don't think you can get one for under a fiver". So I did the next best thing and bought a little teddy tiger. She unwrapped it, found it cute, then asked "why a tiger?" ARGH! I explained, but she cannot seem to remember the article OR magazine.....GRRRR!!
