I'm quite fascinated to know how and why you came up with some of the more mysterious and thought provoking handles used by you guys. Without prying too personally, it'd be interesting to learn why you use what you use.

this has been covered in a topic a few years ago - ill try and find the thread.

Drax = Hugo Drax from James Bond film Moonraker. a forum handle i made up when i first had a modded car (Ford Escort) in my old Ford days. my DRAX sticker on my front 4g bumper was originally on my Escort.

Thanks for sharing, @Drax. Yes, I did wonder about the 007 link.
If this is just a rehash, (and consequently old hat), then please go ahead and delete it. Ta.

Haha ok, I'll bite.
It's a nickname from my college days. I used to have long and curly hair (impossible for those that know me now, to believe!) hence "wurly". And I was always getting told off for something at college or another (taking the body lemonade out of one of the lecturers or another, being late, turning up still drunk every Friday morning to the full day in the machine shop, seeing how far across the workshop I could get a lathe to chuck the chuck key, welding the spot-welder terminals together etc.) hence "corner" from 'being sent to the corner'.

My name is a combination of my dog at the time and the Merlin helicopter, no inspiration from the wizard :D .

But which bits came from which? Is it 'Mer' from the dog and 'lin' from the helicopter?
