Motegi Wheels or civic ep3 type r wheels ?

Post by Rudelude » Sat Mar 26, 2016 3:37 am

So I'm back in the UK, for almost 3 weeks in July and want to get some work done to the Lude I bought from KungFu Bob.
I still haven't seen it yet, and it's on my brothers drive.

The black type s rims r in great condition, as they had recently been refurbed, but Ideally I want motegis and paint white. But I will consider ep3 rims too.

As the wheels will be having a refurb, any condition will be considered...but not cracked or repaired please.
Rusty with signs of kerbing is perfectly fine.

Pm if u can help..

Hey @Rudelude

I'm not on here much now that my prelude has sold but I do have a set of Motegi's kicking around. Already off the tyres so ready for refurb. I'll get some pictures next week as there in storage and haven't had a chance to scrub them up.

I got a set of motegis, £175 shipped. Was just about to list them anyway. They were refurbed about 6 years ago but the paints started to flake again. No visible kerbing though. Just let me know.

motegi FTW! I personally don't like how the EP3 wheels look on the prelude and the motegis are a bit more exclusive.

I think motegis R more flash but I don't mind ep3 as second choice...the problem with type S rims is the size, 16"...hmhhh if they were 17's im sure nobody would really bother changing them...

For me it's between Type-S and Motegi/ATR wheels..

I'm not to keen on EP3 wheels and the OEM 16" wheels belong on a lesser spec Prelude.. (imo) :ugeek:
