Am back from the dead and finally decided to have my 5th gen Prelude checked what is wrong with it after 7 years.
A lot has been going on in the main time, but the car has been checked for rust, nothing major luckily.
So we will go on with those repairs.
I am going to revision the engine completely, the engine needs some love for sure.
From what we saw, only one of the camshafts has some damage, the rest still seems quite fresh.
Does anybody have a nice set H22A7/8/type S camshafts available?
Only one is damaged, will need to check if it was intake or exhaust.
Otherwise I need to go aftermarket, but then I need to replace a whole lot more, like cams and springs.
That will create a big dent in the budget for sure.
