oh no, was just thinking the other day how did the ABS sensor refitting go - not so well possibly!

Yes I’m afraid. Matt is finding it difficult to remove the broken bolt so I’m thinking just to replace the hub. He grinding it down enough and put one bolt on but it’s still causing issues with same error.

Just grinding the area down won't help for sure - the sensor needs to be properly bolted back in place.
Without wishing to sound unhelpful, I'm not sure I understand what he's finding so difficult about that? Just drill out the remains of the old bolt carefully and clear the remnants with a tap. That's pretty standard stuff for a mechanic to do, so what are we misunderstanding here?

To be honest I don’t understand either. He has been trying to get the broken bolt out while the hub is still on the car. So there isn’t much access.

Today I manage to remove the hub from a Prelude I’m breaking and after the caliper, caliper holder and disc came off, it took less then 20 minutes to take off the 4 nuts by gently heating them up.

So I’m going to send the car back to him next week. It’s getting really frustrating.
