Got my tickets Yesterday morning, thanks gayno. I'm just wondering as I've never been to jae before, I'm guessing we all camp around our club stand right ? Also my dads got a day ticket and is coming down in his ep3, does he have to just park with everyone else or could we squeeze him on the club stand ? I'm also sure I heard that gates open on Thursday afternoon, is this correct ? What time do they open ? Is anyone gonna be there at that time or are you guys arriving later ??

Ps. sorry for all the questions. I found the jae website to be lacking slightly in information.

Did you not read my info letter with the tickets?!

Yep, gates open 3pm Thursday, Wurlycorner, h10ndr and I will be there Thursday afternoon.

Basically we camp on the club stand with the cars and marquee. I will have a generator for power and a BBQ or 2 for cooking, so all you need to bring is yourself, tent, food and drink.

Not sure if you can bring a car in on a day ticket, but if you can he is more than welcome to park on our stand.

Hmmm... I definitely read it but may have been completely overwhelmed by the excitement that I didn't retain any of the information.

I do remember reading somewhere about the opening times but I forgot where and couldn't find it again.

Nevermind, I think I'm losing the plot. On the plus side Claire has just detailed our ride today after a few mechanical tweaks by myself last week and it looks superb. Looking forward to this weekend more than ever.

Received my tickets on Saturday, thanks.

However, there's now a chance I might not be able to come :( I replaced my car's knock sensor two weeks ago, the old one broke in half while being removed. I fitted the new one and it's totally dead. Was an ultra cheap one from China through Amazon. CEL comes on dash after a few minutes of driving. Last weekend, I glued the old one back together (which previously did function to a certain extent), refitted it and now it's dead which isn't surprising.

Have ordered another new knock sensor, different one this time which SHOULD arrive this week. If it does arrive in time and does work, I'll be able to attend.

Great drokking timing!

Bad times man, but these things always happen at the worst times!

Does the engine go into limp mode without one, or is it still drivable?
