Great job
Top work getting all this work done - not easy to get much done with ludes during these times.

Thanks guys. It still needs more work, but now that the bodywork has been restored, it gives the project more of a "finished" tidy appearance.

Some recent pics.
Things left to do in the near future:
Have the bodyshop do the finishing touches to the paintwork so emblems and all rubbers/seals can be installed.
Full detail and paint protection.
Gearbox rebuild + Helical LSD
Fabricate and fit 2.5" exhaust system using the Magnaflow silencers I purchased a while back.
I was debating whether to install Mfactorys 4.6 final drive along with the gearbox rebuild. I decided against it in the end as I think it would be a headache for motorway cruising. I already have the "short ratio" M2P4 box installed. Am I making a mistake? Any opinion on this is more than welcome and appreciated. Advice regarding Mfactorys LSD and the gearbox rebuild is also welcome.

I replaced my Type S ATTs system with a Helical Mfactory LSD with stage 2 upgrade gears, a 4.64 final drive all in an M2P4 gearbox.
The shorter final drive is the best mod I ever did. The perceived increase in torque (15%) is amazing.
At 70mph it cruises at around 3700rpm.
It's a tad annoying but not bad and well worth it I think.

Thanks for the input Ratty. Just out of curiosity, did you notice any difference in fuel consumption after installing the 4.64 final drive?RattyMcClelland wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 8:38 pmI replaced my Type S ATTs system with a Helical Mfactory LSD with stage 2 upgrade gears, a 4.64 final drive all in an M2P4 gearbox.

It's too difficult to tell as I did a supercharger upgrade and the same time and now back to high output NA so I really only get 250miles to a tank.tom023 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 22, 2022 9:14 pmThanks for the input Ratty. I can get 320 miles to a tank on pure motorway but I honestly don't care as I don't do enough miles.
It will use more fuel though as you sit at higher revs at all speeds.
