Yeah also the change to the B series box will be a change in gear ratios and final drive. I think even the stock ratios are better than a Ludes with and aftermarket final drive (I'll need to check the numbers though). True top speed will be lower but I never get over 110mph anyway

Fitting a b series into a prelude is going to take a lot of custom work. H2b kits are designed so you use all your b series stuff like clutch flywheel mounts and the rod type gear linkage (b don't use cables like preludes)
So at minimum your going to have to try fit the linkage above the exhaust like on a b series car and fab up a way of fitting an h series mount to a b series box or some chassis mods to accept the b series mount.

Yup I expect a bit of work. Not sure of the exact mechanism for the shifter of a sequential box but I assume it is much more simple as the only action of the shifter is backwards and forwards. Hopefully a cable mod will be simple to do.

I've always wondered about running a b series transmission just for the different ratios, hmm could be some serious acceleration increases, but which box would you use??
