My first Prelude
Managed to fix this cornering light bracket to a decent enough standard in the end and looks ok on the bumper. Need to take some new pics but the car has come a long way. Will be stripping and refurbishing the passenger door over the next few days after which it should be quite presentable - just a few small electrical things to get sorted which can wait (radio, third brake light install for high-rise spoiler). Still need to switch the alternator for an SiR one to get the 4ws but that can wait too, just want to drive it now!!
Changed the auto transmission fluid (Honda ATF of course) which has improved shifting but have some more arriving tomorrow for two more changes. Will clean out the solenoids (had already done the lockup gasket) in between to give the gearbox its best chance of survival. I know most people would just manual swap but I would prefer it auto and have a spare auto to switch in if needs be. Sure it would be a massive pain to do but much simpler than the alternative.

Thanks Toadster! I just hope the ATF drains and solenoid clean does the trick on the transmission. I don’t really want to have to swap the autobox and torque converter although I’m tempted to have the ones off my parts car taken out and reconditioned in preparation. Don’t suppose anyone can recommend a specialist in the Midlands?

Finally got around to changing the spoiler over today, 3rd brake light installed last week and luckily the existing wiring reached no problem.
