Re: Blue Beauty from Malaysia
It's funny that I've just seen your post, Iain, as I've just spent an enjoyable two hours washing her. She looks beautiful.

New tints on passenger and driver's door windows
Decided to tint the windows following the tints of the rear window and both the three-quarter windows. It's an illegal 65% tint but as Malaysian coppers hate stopping me at road blocks, (they don't want to speak English), I think I'll be safe with them.
Actually, it was interesting to watch Dennis' team do the work, very interesting and only took them an hour from start to finish. A bonus was that Dennis (the MD) took off the electric window surrounds personally, as last time one of his guys broke one of them. Pleased to report that nothing broke. While the door interiors were off, we noticed that parts of the polythene liner had sagged a bit. He kindly duct-taped it back in situ, which made it look a whole lot better. All very professional and a great job all round. Total for the two windows was RM100.00 which is about GBP20.00 A bargain if you ask me...
I think it looks great, seems to make the car lower and certainly a bit meaner.
This is a bit of a bad photo as it doesn't really show the effect, sorry.
And also asked the tint guys to fit my new tax sticker. They're a bugger to peel off and refit so a swift fiver backhander got it sorted,
By the way, my road tax is RM535 which is as near as dammit GBP100.00.
Anyway, hope you like the new look.

Cheers, lads. Those comments are a nice end to a fraught working day. One more hour and there's a glass of Tiger with my name on it.
