Don't do it man! Adjust the feckers and you'll hopefully find they are totally fine. I've been tweaking mine since I got them, and finally found a setup I can live with on the crap roads round here, but that keeps the car planted if I decide to press on.Bri wrote:Next is to ditch the Koni set up, too harsh for these bloody roads.

Re: Back in Black
Thanks Nicky boy but nope not selling this one, if I cant run it I will mothball it. Withdrawal is too much to handle and as its got the rare TV in dash ayrton senna's stamp on the back, being a JDM BB4 in black with a H22A8 and close ratio box, its got way too much potential to let go now.
Gorgon Thanks very much for the offer, I got me a set of of oem shocks, I would hang on to them mate, you never know when you will need them. Under rated oem shocks are I tell ya! I think way better ride than Koni.

Re: Back in Black
Cheers Mart, I used to love being able to spend on my old lude and gradually get it how I wanted it, not able to spend anything or make proper progress on my lude is doing my head in now. Realy want to get it up to scratch.

Re: Back in Black
well there has been a slight change of plan as you may know. I did a deal with Gary and he has taken the black one off my hands, between the both of us we will of made a real decent lude. I wanted to do more but its been to stressful to even think about playing with cars, I did however fit th A8 and get it converted to a manual, change clocks ect and its definately a better car for it.
So I have bought myself a Frontera for lugging logs about and I have a fresh project. I prefered to take this on becuase its 100% stock. Its a JDM with low milage and it has some nice toys like LSD, TC, working 4ws, ABS Cruise control, Sunroof. It wants a ball joint and a brake pipe for the MOT, it needs some welding on the rear arches and sills then de rusting underneath. There is an air leak on the inlet manifold area but other than that its a real nice car.
I hope to get this one under way soon because I now finally have got a job Unfortunately cash is speed when you are doing a motor up so I can only go as fast as my wallet. I hope to get it up to the standard of my red one, infact I would like to spray this one red, Its the best colour for a lude for me, I have seen a few nice shades of red lately.
Some pics
Will get some more soon and update as soon as I make any progress. Im looking forward to getting it looking like my old one.
Still regret selling, so I want to start from scratch a fresh one, un tinkered and it will all be my own work. Cant wait
