My 1998 5th gen

My 1998 5th gen

Bought this yesterday, and just having a close look at it today. There's a nasty bit on the front bumper, which I might have a go at with filler to smooth it out in the first place.

There are a couple of spidery bits of rust bubbling under the paint around one corner of the sunroof, and the number plate surround on the back bumper has come adrift (looks like the bumper had a prang and the white plastic inside the bumper which holds the surround on is also floating around.)

The passenger door handle works OK, but isn't sitting flush:

Also, I'm not a great fan of the wheels and would like to swap them with some original Honda alloys:

And lastly, the silver on the lettering on the back bumper is coming adrift:

I'll take my time and do as much of the work as possible myself - and any advice would be gratefully received!

Hi Rob, yes, I bought it from Tom - he advertised it on this forum.

Good buy. Keep the wheels, they suit it. It'll look sweet with some tidying up.

I think the door handle problem is spring related. Someone else had this problem recently and fixed it.

Just realised I didn't post a picture showing the whole car...
