Hi All,
After alot of issues with my username I am finally able to log in. Shout out to Ratty, MUCHO APPRECIATED!!!!!
In 1992 I saw for the first time a car that would hold my passion for driving. As a schoolboy I dreamt of Countach, NSX, F1, EB110, Esprit, 308 GTS. Those cars were only ever dream machines.
In 1992 I told myself that I would one day own this vehicle. Passed my Test in 97 and began the love affair with cars for real. To date I have owned 5 Honda cars, all different models of Civic. I knew even back then that this car would be difficult to get hold of due to its classic looks and limited production run. Now, almost 29 years later, my boyhood dream has finally been achieved!!!
I am now the proud owner of Silver 1995 Honda Prelude VTEC!!!
It has a full Honda Service History. 86500 on the clock when I saw the car. The previous owner has changed the sunroof from the rusting tin one to the Mark IV glass. Only other changes were TSW 17" Alloys and a Powerflow Exhaust to make it sound great!!
Only down side i was advised is the cat was "stolen"..... I'll leave you all to think about that for a minute lol
Now, to pass it's MOT, I'm going to have to buy a new Exhaust system cos most places claim it's a custom setup and won't touch it with a10ft barge pole. Pricey!!! But hey, I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!
Future Plans: As much as my head is swirling about the possibilities with this car my first port of call it's to get out through its MOT.
Right now I'm torn between keeping it stock, or as much stock as possible (replace rusty or badly worn parts), or kit it out and make it look fantastic.
Either way, it will be very fun dilemma!! Haha
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Lo
Welcome along
So You have a Powerflow exhaust with a gap in it
Have I read it wrong
Surely You can fit an aftermarket cat if that's the case.
Cheers

exhaust is probably a bit mangled - dont think cat thieves are too careful when removing them
still a new exhaust is always a good thing on a lude - its always an expensive item so best bet is go for a custom full stainless steel system - it will be made to fit the car and should last a lot longer which is good if you plan on keeping the car.
Also there are a few aftermarket systems that are proven winners but cost much more than a custom system.
More important question is are you sticking with oem manifold or looking to upgrade
Welcome to LG and say where you are - there might be a lude owner nearby that can help out
Sounds like a nice lude you have with full Honda service history which is rare.
Get some pics up

welcome to the club!! she looks pretty clean ive seen this one for sale a few times over the years, usually using the same pictures every time lol
she desperately either needs standard wheels (if your going for the standard look) or lowering via lowering springs or coilovers.
any pictures to see what state the exhaust is in? just to see what sections are damaged to try and save you replacing too much
