Hi all,
Just bought my first prelude, currently sitting as a stxnce cxr but looking to convert to a fast road set up. Also looking to put a H22A, A5, A7 or A8 in it so any info/links for a conversion are appreciated.
Looking forward to being part of the forum.

Hi and welcome.

I assume it's a 2 litre at the moment? Upgrading to vtec is pretty simple, just swap the engine, change the ECU and add a wire for vtec. Obviously upgrading the brakes should be on the list to compliment the swap.

Yep currently a 2 litre F20A4. Good to hear it's so easy. I'll more than likely change the box too. I don't have the specs on the ratios but I imagine the f20 gearbox won't be very fun with the H22.
Are there any write ups you know of detailing what I would need? Engine mounts, drive shafts, gear linkages etc? If so I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum. I'd try to pick up a whole donor car - that way you will have everything you need plus more.

I ran a 2.0 litre box in mine as part of the auto manual swap I did years ago, it was alright really, though if you could get a vtec lsd gearbox, that would be best.

The gearboxes are interchangeable too, so anything h or f series will fit (not ATTS!) and you don't have to worry about any of the peripherals.
