As above, as i've given up trying to seal my manifold and downpipe and i'm getting fed up from petrol fumes entering the cabin.

Under the scuttle panel. Passenger side. Petrol fumes would indicate a leak before the engine, as once combusted it doesn't really smell of petrol. Fuel filter is very near the air intake.

I had a similar issue, a garage I took it to left one of the rocker cover washers off (top left when you look at the motor) which was causing the smell. Actually happened on the prelude of someone else I knew too, I think it's the one to leave if they lose or break a washer.
