Fog Light Switch Illumination

Post by EddieMunster » Mon Jun 17, 2019 10:54 pm

Hi

Is the fog light switch supposed to illuminate when you put the lights on? The roof and cruise buttons next to it do, so, it seems a little odd that the fog button wouldn't??

Regards

Pretty sure its supposed to - most of the switches have 2 removable bulbs, held in thumb twistable holders... I suspect one is blown. Surprisingly the last pack of these bulbs i bought was from halfords and it wasnt a complete rip off! i nearly had a heart attack when i saw the cost for a pair was under a quid!

no idea in the 4th gen, i suspect they pop out with persuasion (they have springed metal retainers which are easier to push in than pull out), however pulling from the front is likely to cause trouble. If possible, push from the back...

My 5th gen has a little twist out led bulb, i'd be interested to know where people find those types of bulbs for sale, I dont even know what they'd be called.

Might have been for the peugeot however - cant recall. if not, search ebay for interior illumination bulbs, pretty sure i bought a pack of 10 lucas ones cheap before i realised i could get them in halfords.

Neo wedge bulbs. T3 for switches. Honda ones usually have a rubber cover over the actual bulb so they illuminate the correct colour.
