Hey all, still popping in to see what's happening in the lude community
I sold my TT supra for repairs in November and began the hunt for something to replace her. I was still looking around for ludes, but also had a hankering for something with similar power to the Supra, and also had to be japanese (of course!)
I decided on a 350z in the end, and finally found one in the spec I wanted 2 weeks ago
For those in the know, it's the facelift version (so has the better LED lights, bi-xenons and revised interior), has the 296bhp revup 3.5l engine, and the GT pack (brembos, full heated leather, rays lightweight alloys) and it also has built in sat nav. Only got 46k on the clock so hardly run in
Suffice to say I am very happy with it!
Already began modding it of course - put on a popcharger induction kit, carbon bonnet lifters and LED lights for the interior/sidelights. Got a new gear knob/gaiter and D1 throttle controller to install as well as blue hose kit for under the hood. Treated it to a quick machine polish last weekend but need some better weather to give the paint the time it needs
So although I did have thoughts of going back to a 4th gen, I've had to go onto something a bit more modern. I did have some nice reminising as I was clearing my garage out though - I held on to loads of bits like EL gauges, wiring looms, door cards and interior bits/switches just in case I went back to a 4th gen, but I've finally come to terms with the fact I probably won't
Hopefully see those that I know around at some shows in the upcoming years
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

for popping in to update us.
4g bug's are very hard to shift, so never say never
I do like the way these sound.
They just don't come close to an s2k in terms of desirability for me though - I just can't get on with the slab sided/heaviness of them.
Hope you have loads of fun in it though

Your in the honeymoon period..... Prelude will always get you back..... It's the complete package
Nice enough cars, U should have gone for a 300zx TT, easily unable to 500bhp
And that v6 is thirsty too....hence the low miles
But you have got a convertible, so you can enjoy the sun.... Always interesting to see what luders move onto.
Enjoy the ride matey

It did come with the optional hair straightener attachment (usually a JDM-only feature) so line up at the shows and I'll treat you to some styling...
