It does indeed and just what I wanted to hear as well ... No major benefits over an ATR inlet which is what I already have modified and lined up to go on my big buildSiR_Chris wrote:Cheers bud!!NafemanNathan wrote:Awesome news! The car looks great and so does the spec!
Any idea what kind of gains the RBC K20 Inlet Manifold gave? Obviously it's all relative to the rest of the spec...
It's a difficult one as I also enlarged the throttle body at the same time etc. I don't think honestly it gave any more gains than a Euro-R or Skunk2 H22 manifold would give tbh, it helped her breathe a lot better and made good improvements over the stock H22 I had on before (albeit with deleted IABs which I'm selling currently), about 15bhp I guess but made more in the mid-range. Didn't do anything for the torque interestingly.
Being subjective, for the cost and hassle, I would recommend other inlet's. I really went with the RBC because I got a great deal from Rosko, I was in the US at the time so got delivery for free (brought it home in my suitcase haha) but mainly because I wanted an empty looking bay and the way it points 'down' really helps with the look I was going for in the engine bay at the time. Hope that kind of answers your question lol
It's always good to be different though
