Keeping thinking about one of these as a daily, what sort of mpg are you seeing? And insurance? The 555 quid tax puts me off.

Re: Elle - the Legend
The tax is set to monthly, and just ignore it. Only way, mental breakdown otherwise
I'm mainly doing fairly short runs, which is getting me around 24mpg - long runs you hover just above 30. I'm sure I could get more, but I like the loud pedal too much.
Insurance was ~£300, which wasn't much more than my Volvo at £280.

I think I can't really deem this car 'sensible' when I already have the Type S as a toy. I will need a bigger car for daily duties soon, but might look at an old Accord instead.indigolemon wrote: ↑Tue Nov 13, 2018 7:53 pmThe tax is set to monthly, and just ignore it. My Type S with a load of mods declared is only £350, I am 34 with 10 years NCB. I think a lot of it is down to postcode.toadster wrote: ↑Tue Nov 13, 2018 10:15 pmHow do you get insurance prices like thisindigolemon wrote: ↑Tue Nov 13, 2018 7:53 pmThe tax is set to monthly, and just ignore it.
