That would be one jobby-load of weight at the back of the car... :? More tail happy than a 1980's 911 Turbo?
That's part the plan! Tail happy, centre of gravity away from the front axle so therefore wheelie machine!!!

This thing look cool pal. Really like it, well done. I am also a small fan of the air cooled motor. We mot 2 old air cooled vw campers every year, always cool 8-)

Cheers man, yea, the air cooled motors are great. Mine's a bit oily, but that'll get sorted in time.

Got the rear arches off at last!! Found an ingenious way of mounting the rear lights - using the bumper support bars sideways! The rear light units I used are motorcycle tail tidies, with both lights acting as tail lights, the inside ones acting as brake lights and the outside ones acting as turn lights (on the brake light wire)

Hey, Crazy, would it be a lot of trouble to remove the "Sqaure" bits either side of the bootlid too? It would look great of the whole back end went down to a curvy point. Ok, just a thought :?

Loads of people do cut that down, and I probably will too in time. It's easy enough to do, just do a cut each side of the engine bay and remove that whole rear section.

I have other plans in mind though that may not require that ;)

Yea, a lot of volksrods also move the front axle forwards about 10" too, but that requires a lot of cutting n everyone seems to do it so I won't do it.

 I can't think why you're not surprised
