Dash carpeted, and a slight lighting problem...
Couple of updates.
Got the dash carpeted now and really pleased with the outcome on it
One problem did arise though, my lights and indicators no longer work So after studying wiring diagrams and various other bits, I'll try a couple of things tomorrow morning, otherwise, I'll just make my own wiring loom and switch bank for the lights. Shouldn't be too hard - ignition live to a switch for:
- lights
- main beam
- front fogs
- rear fogs
And just wire an ignition live constantly to the sidelights.
The hazards and indicators have stopped working too, so will have to see if I can get that working again off the OEM switches, just cos it's useful and more used to having them there.

Dash looks good, but the lights thing is annoying. This since the V8? How much of the engine loom did you have to hack up?

Re: Volvrat II - Zippy Lea - Update 19/01/11
Nah, the lights problem is just since this morning Was tidying up some switches for the fog lamps, and spark, pop, smoke and 2 relays and 4 fuses later, still nada
Probably just going to make my own wiring loom I think, or I'll just hook the wiring for the right side up to the left, which still works for some reason?

Triple Gauge Pod Fitted
I've fitted a triple pod into the car this morning, and found that the pod fits perfectly on the pillar. Bearing in mind, I have no pillar trim, I was really impressed by the fitment of it Total cost for the pod + gauges = £35
Next step is to do the lights wiring loom tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Lights are sorted, just need to drill some holes in the switch panel for the switches to poke through, and hook up the live and earths on the switches to make them work and illuminate
