Not at all  But then I've had stuff to get on with anyway, house and car related, so not to worry.

I actually collected a whole load of wood with my Dad the other day. Really rather large crates that a number of BMW Mini showroom features came in. The wood is long enough to be used to raise the 12x8' shed up a good foot and a half, which should allow me to get in without ducking

It was my Dad's idea and he's offered to do it for me (He must be bored), but I don't imagine it's going to happen anytime soon and he's not the speediest person, and he only really likes working in nice weather as well

Well I assisted my Dad to get the shed this far a couple months back (I did 80% of the work and had to take charge  )...

Dad was a no-show the next day   so I had to put in the corner posts myself, although I had managed to find a stand-in assistant at short notice...

All that was left to do for now was clad it and fit the donor doors my Dad had provided.

So queue 2 months later  (Yesterday) and I've clad it...

I've got some small angle brackets I need to fit to the inside of the corners, just to allow me to pull the corners in...

Image

Image

Then I just need to trim the width of the doors down fractionally...

Image

Image

I will eventually be re-cladding the whole shed with the same shiplap as the quality of the shed panels isn't exactly all that...

Image

And due to the internal uprights I now have the option to skin the inside and even insulate it if I feel it necessary...

Image

But for now, it's to allow me to rid the house extension of its contents for my plasterer to have free-roam of the place to do the ceilings and for me to then lay the floor with ease.

 Why have you not put a frame round the inside of the bottom of it, like wot it originally had?

(ps you could have built your garage by now! )

Ahh, that will be going back Mr Eagle Eyes. It's just not the easiest thing to jack up and although heavier now it's clad, it will be more rigid now all the legs are tied together. I've got a whole load of builder's mastic to seal around the base and all the joins as well.

Insulate it, if you were close enough I could've probably found you some for free, too. We did my dad's shed and it's so much better in the winter than before. Although maybe redundant once you get the garage built (assuming you're double skinning, OIOI).

Yeah plenty of building sites round my way at the moment

Although it would most likely be the itchy stuff, so much easier to use the polystyrene type sheets, I imagine that is megabucks though.

King span is mega money, I went on eBay and got some loft insulation for my garage. Most people over order then sell it cheap

I used Recticel to insulate my garage, worked a treat and cheap enough, got it from Jewsons
