Son of Voltan
Time to come clean, I've purchased a new car to replace the Prelude, and err ... it's not a Honda. Sorry. I decided that it was time to try something different, take a break from what I know, and give myself time to regroup. So, on Tuesday, I will be taking ownership of this handsome fellow:
My last Volvo was a 1997 850 2.5 10v, we named him Voltan after Brian Blesseds character in Flash Gordon, as we figured if a Volvo had a voice, it would be Brian Blessed's.
This one is a 2005 S60 2.5T SE, and it has a full service history, and all the toys. I'll post up more pics etc after I get my grubby mitts on it and give it a good clean and polish.
Please don't kill me, I will get another lude as soon as I have a garage to work on it in!

Nice, I like Volvos, especially turbo ones my aunt has a a V70 turbo estate, it's got a custom stainless exhaust, has been remapped and it goes like jobby off a shovel! It does make me laugh that she bought it to lug the dogs about in
We looked at a Volvo V40 before we bought Laura's Civic as I similarly fancied a change, I kind of wish I had now thinking back
At any rate that car looks cool. Nice purchase there

Already read this on fb and as said on there by someone else BIKERS BEWARE volvo drivers cause the worse chaos on the roads in the world. On a brighter note they are a fairly quick car from what I can gather and with those advancing years creaping up like a bad dose of the clap a more comfy and old man like car will suit your needs better. I shall continue to find you a bargain white 4g in scotland for your weekend toy to relieve the boredom of having no rust to chase and far fewer visits to the doctors for bruised thumbs .

Good to see you back on the road at least!
shame it's not in a Lude though
I guess there isn't really anything that can replace the Lude so going a completely different route was the way to go
Looks like a very nice example. I liked the shape of these, especially where the bodywork rolls over the rear lights
