Like what you see?
These things take quite a bit of time, research, implementation as well as making these write ups.
While not required, contributions do help and incentivise these projects (lots and lots of broken parts)

The following is a write up post installation of my One Touch Turn Signal modification. This modification is on the basis of a Right Hand Drive 97-01 BB6 VTi-R Prelude. The goal of this modification is to make the indicators/turn signals/blinkers flash multiple times with a slight touch of the stalk.

Almost everything is done outside of the car, and becomes 99% plug and play.

Tools:
  • Side cutters
  • Screw driver
  • Multi-meter (Optional, but recommended)
  • Tape/Heat shrink
  • Female spade terminals
  • Male spade terminals
  • 6 pin spade pug
  • Spare wire
Parts Needed: This flasher was chosen personally for its programmability, features and packaging. If enough requests are made, I can substitute this flasher for a more basic version.

Assembly:

Follow the wiring diagram below, pictures for reference have been added. Large heat shrink (30mm~) was placed over the whole assembly.

Remove the shroud off of the 6 pin spade connector, and it will plug right into the fuse box location of the original flasher unit.

Hazard switch modification:

To allow the hazards to function properly, you must convert the hazard switch from positively switched, to negatively switched. To do so, remove the centre panel holding the hazard switch, cut the following wires (but leave some length on the connector!):
  • White/Green
  • Blue/Green
  • Blue/Yellow
Attach from connector side wires:
  • White/Green > Ground
  • Blue/Green > Hazard input on flasher relay (Purple)
