The Prelude most certainly was an old person's car. The 5th gen' still is!
How many of us can afford to spend £25 grand on a car? Only old retired people have that kind of cash sitting around.
The fact is that old people are generally wiser than the young.
If you've lived long enough, you'll realise that the Japs make exceptional cars.
The young these days haven't a clue, and spend thousands on crappy Fords or Vauxhells.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

makes me laugh why they asked "honda type r club"
there is no type r prelude so why ask those donkeys who know sod all about "real honda's"
how many 2.2si non-vtec has anyone on here ever seen in this country?? i for one have never seen one!!!
and it was only considered a grand-dad car in it's day because they were the only one's who could afford to buy and insure one, the same as nowadays! the list price of the lude in 1992 was £18,500 which in todays money is £30,000+ why do you think only old men could have one??????????

i have had a 2.2si non vtec not bad cars they are mislabelled as vtecs though on import because we only get either a vtec or 2.0 or 2.3 so when the f22 was brought in they thought all 2.2 were vtec
