It will be replaced by the FK2 TypeR (Black Edition).

I have only one space on my driveway and I can’t keep one of the cars on road. If I had a garage which I thought I would get didn’t happen I would have stored the Prelude and keep both cars.

I’ve just them an email, I don’t think I can afford it whilst on their websites with all the lambos and porches.. with my old Honda they would probably just ignore the inquiry..

Let’s see.

Some people make a good point in terms of regret. I have regretted selling my Type S on and off since I did it last year. Part of it is because I won't get my Yaris GR until May. Part of it is because I loved that car, it was a fresh import, very rare, it felt special.

The main reason I still feel overall that it was the right decision for me was maintenance. At over 20 years old, the car will have required big and small jobs, I was more than happy to pay someone to do this. The issue here is that after certain more local specialists appeared totally clueless, my only option was Performance Autoworks, who are over 2 hours away on a good run. With 2 children and a full time job, time is precious and I was stuck in this loop where I wasn't using it much partly in case something went wrong and I needed to make yet another trip to PAW. In addition my lack of talent or time to do jobs myself plays a big part in me now wanting a new car, where my Toyota dealer is 5 minutes away. If Performance Autoworks were on my doorstep, I very much doubt I would have sold it.

After a lot of thinking, I’ve decided not to sell this car.

I’ve been in prelude(s) community for nearly 13 years and it’s become a big part of my life. If I ever sold this I would only regret not finding a good example like this ever again.

I’ve got the FK2 Civic TypeR, which I’ll be picking up on Monday so the prelude will be stored away for a bit. So when I want I can always go sit inside and feel sexual.

Sorry for those who were genuinely interested.
