Lude Generation

Hi guys well the lude is away getting a full respray under sealed and a couple of little rusty bits cut out . With a slight oil leak been cured she should be back shortly ready to hit the road again .with the body work coming back like new I hope I have been looking at upgrades for the engine e.g. cams ,valves and pistons .iv seen ones on eBay skunk 2 ECT but I don't no if these fit the h22a5 or are they just for the h22a or h22a7 and so on .it never says if they fit the h22a5 I no u guys prob have covered this with someone else before but some info would be great thanks

Cams, valves (standard size), springs and retainers and cam gears are all interchangeable on and H22

Thanks lad I'l be eyeing up some cams and valves then .

Some cams for example can be aggressive enough to warrant piston work and stiffer valve springs, stronger retainers etc.

Wish I had a bit of knowledge on these things like urself .thought I knew a bit about cars but been on here with u guys and reading some threads and posts it's way over my head lol . Will post up wen I make a couple of decision .

What pistons are you thinking of getting tombomb and I have some h22a8 11:1 compression ones I'm putting up for sale (again!) As I keep changing my mind on what I'm doing with my old block

Not to sure drax .Will the h22a8 pistons fit my h22a5? more compression sound good to me if they do
