I saw it on Wheeler Dealers the other week which got me interested. I had never heard of it before.

I was told about this too from a friend at work. I've read up on it and its sounds very good - can't help but think Honda would put some special conditioners in their coolant for the water pump and other metals to stop corrosion. This stuff relies on the fact that there is no water in the system to cause corrosion, rather than corrosion inhibitors being added.

It's quite expensive to "try", as you need to buy their "prep" kit too, which absorbs all the water before you fill the system with this stuff.

Anyone want to be a guinea pig and try it?

My only concern would be if it works to well and keeps temps too low your ecu won't engage vtec

I am thinking about it. I'm not overly bothered about the corrosion reduction properties, more that it has increased cooling properties, runs the system at no pressure which puts a lot less stress on pumps and hoses etc, and you can take the rad cap off when the engine is hot.

Its going to cost £100 though . They sell 1US gallon (3.7L) bottles so two would be needed.

They say you can fit a smaller rad afterwards. If VTEC engagement is a problem, TBH I dont think it would, you could try a Civic "half" rad.

I'm still reading up on it but there are some mixed reviews out there, although most negative views are from people who havent used it .

no point for our cars, if you run car on correct coolant and right mixture water/coolant you get perfect cooling and no rust at all. and i can back that with fresh engine what been build 2 years ago, now still clean inside as it should be

Seems silly to me. Their FAQ is full of flaws. I don't even know where to start.

Plus this waterless coolant is actually miscible with water, and apparently will last '4LIFE'. Also I fail to see how any organic liquid compound can exist without the ingredients of water in it, not to mention Hydrogen and Oxygen are two of the top three most abundant elements in the universe so no doubt they will pop along and have a chat.

Fair enough it might work and that's dandy, just annoys me when the marketing team behind it make a bold claim, ignore the science behind it and try to write some crap in layman's terms and don't really explain it any further than "It's waterless and will last for the life of the engine"

I'm not so sure this stuff runs at no pressure. As temperature rises in any sealed system, the pressure will rise proportionally. They seem to claim it reduces pressure, probably because it's more efficient than normal coolant?
