@Hagland-BB4 your black bb4 already has a “spoon” chipped ECU in it

Well it did when I had it, did you get the folders of paperwork and invoices with the car? Should have the original chip in a little envelope with “spoon chip” on it
I can’t remember if I ever opened the ECU to check but the Vtec point is not standard on that car also the Rev limiter is well past 8500rpm so I assumed it has the chip installed

Yes it has, im the one that fitted it to the car all those years ago, I need one for my silver car now. Yes I got all the folders etc, its so weird seeing previous paperwork lol

I thought the P28 ecu was the best for mapping and etc?
I sourced one from a prelude I bought for breaking. Got myself a LSD tranny, carbon hood, BC coilovers, type R accord calipers and a p28 ecu fitted.

Hi I have been reading your post about the chip you can supply. I have a H22A - BB3 prelude it has a standard ECU in it at the moment but I have had some issues so I have been running my friends ECU which possibly has one of the older chips that are no longer available, he seems to think it does away with 2 sensors the knock sensor and one other he's not sure of (it was years ago he brought it) it also seems to lower when the VTEC comes in and definitely moves the limiter.

So what I am asking is do you think your chip would provide the same and would it be compatible with my ECU?
the numbers on my ECU are
37820-P13-N01
552-306401

Hopefully this all makes sense
