A mate of mine has been known to do that when visiting. He claims he's trying to save his hosts money. Apparently, studies have shown that fewer sheets are used per person when the roll is this way round.

I think he does it to annoy.

I don't pay attention to which orientation my toilet paper is in, as long as it's there when I need it, and I also don't care if the toilet seat is left up or down. I recently had a water meter fitted, so the ethos now is: If it's yellow, let it mellow, if it's brown, flush it down. P.S. I live alone!!
