ATR brakes guide pin

Post by jdeale84 » Sun May 19, 2024 11:31 am

So I've purchased some lovely ATR brakes for my lude. However, I just noticed it didn't come with any guide pins.
So I'm looking online and it says guide pins either come as 85mm or 72mm but I have no idea which one to get.
Has anyone bought guide pins for ATR calipers before and know what size to get?

Do I get this?

or this?

or both?

I bought the option 1 set. You have the carriers as well?

Mine were more like option #2, with the rubber anti squeal shim:

https://brakeparts.co.uk/shop/Honda/Acc ... rs/BCF1498 is where I got them from.

Id go with the one from brake parts - the listing specifically states CH1 chassis code, whereas the ebay listing is a bit more wishy washy. Plus the rubber components look very waxy/plasticy and cheap to me.

I actually already have the rubber components and yes the carriers as well, So I'm just after the guide pins and bolts but you've both gone for 85mm so that's good to know.
Although on option 1, the one @Merlin has gone for, its 85x10.5mm
And the bremtech ones you've gone for @Scott560 are 85x11mm
Do you reckon this is an insignificant difference?
