Penetrating grease for OEM bushes
Ah, that does make sense. So that's another job for the summer A few bushes need replacing as it is, the upper control arm bushes are worn and I think that's due to the broken ARB droplink on the same side which is now repaired. I'll need to get a garage to give the car a once over, we don't have MOTs over here so some problems are never spotted
Blessing and a curse

i used all of the original stuff. its horrid. the other stuff i found was not so bad.
i used this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HT-Silicone-G ... 3cbb25a40f
it seems to do the job. one pot did the whole car.
i stripped off all the components. cleaned them of all the old original (and quite dirty considering the few miles covered) ES sticky sticky and made sure everything was nicely coated in this before putting it all back on the car.
only a few hundred yards so far but no squeaks
@nafe: those are some pretty bad errors. i will leave them as a warning to others who post first thing and before a coffee.
