Red isnt fail IMO. I have matt black wheels so the calipers need to stand out a little. I think light silver is the same bet.
Now do i use my waterbased paint on the calipers and nice thick lacquer. :?

I know I shouldnt say this but have you tried kwik-fit? I paid £50 for the two rears refurbed on the last Lude and they seemed to do a good job.

if you want do full recon do it right and dont cut corners. dont be attract to cheap recons, they are cheap for reason, i seen so many recons fail, seen pattern parts and they are not same as originals. spend bit more and use only quality parts to recon your callipers.

Iv bought calipers from Brakes int before and they are original OEM calipers refurbed and kept in stock. And they are great quality. All id need to do is mask up, 400 down, etchprime, paint and lacquer. Done.

Will refurb the brakes last before i MOT the S.

Yup I did indeed do a write up and it's on here in my profile now, although I am waiting on Confused to send me the more detailed pics so my explanation makes more sense. As I said to you at the time Gayno, easy when you see it done but trying to explain it is a ball ache lmao. Still between 4 of us and then 3 of us it was just the one day all in including some swearing at stuck pistons

Been a year already, fookin' 'eck, time flies when you get older. How are things going with the stoppers Gayno? still free moving? When I did mine did the same as yours and after sitting in my folks garage for 2 years the calipers are still as free moving as day 1 ;)

Well mine hasn't moved in 4 months, but they were working nicely at JAE when I last drove it!
