Some pics of the finished engine mounts - they look ok - didnt spend more than a couple of hours on them from start to finish and as i said before only £8 for 1 tube of sikaflex 221 is enough to do all 4 mounts.

No before pics im afraid.
The mounts were in good condition except the front mount which had a split in the rubber mount itself - which is why i got looking into polyfilling them in the first place as they obviously crack and split with age so will need replacing at some point. I wonder if these mounts are going to come under a bit more scrutiny as part of the new ammendments to the mot by vosa.....

If I'm understanding correctly - you don't, you just fill over it.

correct the sikaflex is added to support and stiffen the oem rubber mount
sikaflex colours available are white/black/grey

So this is either £8 for a do-it-yourself job, or £100 for I-tunes to do it for you? What's the difference besides getting your fingers a little tacky?

So you recon the quality of the Silkaflex isn't up to the same as what Nathan uses? Not bitchin here... Generally interested :)
