Need help

Post by gb-lude » Sun Aug 26, 2012 12:42 pm

Hi guys.
I just fitted my Brake pads and found them sticking out above my discs.
This has happened before on my previous setup.

This is what I'm running:

Powerslot 330 mm discs with matching brackets to fit the origional calipers.
Honda Legend Calipers
Ferodo DS2500 brake pads.

The discs and the brackets are designed especially for my car and should fit. But they don't.
I had the same problem before but hoped I fitted them incorrectly.

Its a very nice brake upgrade but I'm not gonna run it with the pads stickig out.
What should i do? Have new brackets made?
Change setup completely and scrap the 330 discs?

this is the problem:

NOTE:
There is no difference between the Legend and Prelude calipers: Bracket is the same so pads will be in the same place.
The Pads are correct, I did not buy the wrong pads.
The 330mm powerslot discs are no longer available.

the calipers are designed for 282m discs so the curvature will be wrong unless you get pads and calipers designed for that size disc this will always happen

Yes ur right.. thought about it too.. also figures why Powerslot only does 300mm discs now..
guess I'll be ordering some smaller discs then.. :)
