Just thought I would see what brake pads people can recommend for a JDM 4th gen as I'm not sure if they're any different to the UK models,

So recommendations please peoples. What do you use and what would you want instead. Thanks in advance.

Just to add, its not for track use, just to and from work and the occasional drive about.

Yes this is the same post as on PUK but.. I'm scared of spam, its like corned beef.

All 2.2 VTEC Preludes use the same pads. IMO the best all rounder that I have tried is Honda OEM, £46 from your stealer ;)

I've been using Delphi for the last 2 changes. Not bad, very cheap, good cold bite, good stopping power but they heat up VERY quickly.

After some heavy braking (especially downhill) the brakes are juddering  But for town or general driving I'd highly recommend them.

I've got Black Diamond Predator pads, excellent IMHO and were £38 delivered

My daily commute is mostly motorway, I don't think 'juddering' will ne much fun as there are traffic lights on my exit of the motorway and its downhill. :?
I'll pop into the local Honda "stealer"

Yeah as soon as they get hot they struggle to grip. I'd recommend the Predator pads (had a set before, think I'll go back to them) or the Honda pads.

My front pads and discs need changing....

Can you recommend what discs to go with the Predator pads?

Mine are on OEM blank discs I think

Old lude had OEM pads and discs and I could get them to fade easily
New lude came with Green stuff pads, but they were lacking in stopping power
BD Predator Stop me really well and I've not had them fade yet

I found OEM blank discs to be great.

+++ for OEM grade blanks. Blueprint, Mintex, Brembo, EBC, Honda OEM <- any of them.
