Ball Joint Boot Size(lower /front)

Post by vanzep » Tue Jan 31, 2012 11:02 am

I managed to tear the boot on the lower front ball joint when fitting it last weekend  - i dont want to go to all the hassle of replacing the whole unit and just want to replace the boot - i see you can get ball joint and track rod end boots from mister auto - does anyone know what the boot size is that i should order? Or if someone has a ball joint they can measure the diameter of it.
Under normal circumstances i would have just left it but now its a new item introduced by VOSA for the MOT so id better get it done.

If you told me this yesterday I could have brought you one of my old ones to measure. There may be the slim possibility that one of my old ones survived being taken off. I wont be able to check untill tomorrow as im coming to yours tonight
