For the first time in 5+ years I am no longer a Sky insurance customer. Apparently Sky insurance have a minimum price of £300 for a policy Which is uncompetitive to my other quotes.
I would have thought that a minimum price for insurance would not be a huge issue for a long standing customer whom has never made a claim. I think I have paid out over £1500 to Sky, on this policy alone, in recent years and never asked for anything in return.

Strangely enough my renewal came through the other week there and they want more for the 2.0 5th than the fully declared import 4th. Actually glad you posted to as Im still waiting on proof of my no claims so best get on the phone to them.Merlin wrote:For the first time in 5+ years I am no longer a Sky insurance customer. Well mine dropped by several hundred going from being kept in a locked garage on a driveway to parked on the street in a city since being parked on the street it's been keyed, run over from bonnet to boot, all four corners scuffed, numberplate cracked, and I'm pretty sure there are some marks from someone trying to get the door open. Make of that what you will makes no sense to me but whatevs.
This is all irrelevant to Sky, just commenting in general.

Exactly how i was, gave them a call and they came down a bit but was still a a good £60 odd more, this I wouldn't have minded but the lower quote had an excess on £100, skys had an excess of £300! All these little things add.wurlycorner wrote:newkid wrote:Strangely enough my renewal came through the other week there and they want more for the 2.0 5th than the fully declared import 4th.
