Re: Sid the Trike
But the wire doesn't reach to the bike itself, so it won't be sticking to the bike, so all good there.

Fairing is fibreglassed at last!!
Well I've been busy today and got the fairing all fibreglassed up at last. Took a while, but got it done, and really happy with the outcome of it. Just gotta get some filler on there now and get it all smoothed out, and painted matt black and then it'll be as close to a finished project it has ever been!!
It looks a lot rougher than it actually is, most of that is just where there were slight air bubbles underneath, but it's pretty smooth actually, and pretty pleased with it as my first ever attempt at fibreglassing like this too (only ever used chops, not matting before this!)
Before I started on that though, I took a couple of photos in my usual photo taking place, down at my mate's garage, in the same position as when I first got it as a bike.

Re: Sid the Trike
The problem is that none of those fairings would fit this bike. I looked into all the different options, see if I could make something work, but I figured I'd rather not spend money and then cut it up and hope it works, but just attempt at making my own and hope for the best.

Mag photos and New Front Wheel
A few updates on this. It's had a few photos in 100% Biker magazine which I've been well chuffed about
I have also fitted a new front wheel on there now too. I now have a 15" rear wheel off the back of Kaede, my Virago trike project, as the 17" wheel I did have on the front was quite skinny, and I was wearing through the tyres too quickly, and I have an adapter plate on there to mount one of the original front brake discs. Made a massive improvement to handling, plus it makes it look meaner now

New Box
After a slight mishap a little while back, involving being nudged up the rear on the A2 by a van which resulted in the old storage box being ripped off the back (I hadn't actually noticed the bump, just the lack of box when I looked over my shoulder to change lanes! ) I now have a new, and improved, storage box!!!
To give an idea on size, this is a full face helmet in there!!
