Wow I love that. Very clean and looks like it can actually go off-road and be enjoyable.

While waiting for her shoes to come back I gave her a little TLC.

Nothing too heavy but just a claybar, DA polish and a couple of coats of finishcare

This is brilliant. Seems mad to have a car like this which is so clean.
I fancy something along these lines at some point in the future. Looking forward to see how you develop this.

Oil cooler

I got a good deal on an oil cooler and thermostat.

One of the things that kills these is the heat from the autobox getting into the cooling system via the in radiator oil cooler. When under load this extra heat can lead to death.... Also the barrier between them in the rad can break down and you get pink milkshake though both the engine and the tranny :o never good.

So this is the result of some research and some ebay gandering...

I made a suspension system so its not getting shaken too hard

Image

Thermostat closes at 80c and sends the oil round the rad.

fitted in the bumper space.

I shall report on temps and use as we go along. ;)

That's awesome 8-)

I want to do that now  Where did you get the bits?

That's one clean truck by the way, well worth the money. I'd love to treat myself to a minty fresh import 4x4 one day. Does this shape have the roll down rear window?
