Re: Nathan's Garage
Yeah, my extension has got plenty of Celotex in it. Sadly no spare though. I wouldn't put any of the fiberous stuff in there, nothing that would hold moisture. 8'x4' 25mm thick sheets of Celotex are about £13, so considering that's the expensive stuff it shouldn't break the bank to do the whole thing properly.

Yeah, I had thought to use the polystyrene boards removed from lean-to at work. There's more than enough, but I'm not sure whether they're going to be re-used (as the lean-to's been modified, but work on it has halted).

Re: Nathan's Garage
Simple answer to that... No
I have a mountain of rubble to break down to turn into hardcore which will be used for the driveway up to the garage first. I spoke to a chap last week who can provide his services along with a colleague, a digger and a crusher to get that done, so that will probably be in the summer. Then I need to concentrate on making the garden safe to play in so my nearly 5 and 2 year old can actually enjoy it before they're teenagers
I'll be in a position to get my house (Which has and is undergoing serious improvements) revalued and remortgaged soon, so I'm going to see if I can borrow extra to get the garage done by professionals just to get it done asap
So yeah... No

I've got an electrician mate, a plumber mate, a plasterer mate and a window fitter mate. I've used all of them, but I don't have a generic builder mate sadly.

Well ... to be honest, with a young family and the never ending projects that never seem to come up, it's no wonder that it hasn't come together yet. I personally hope that it does come together for you and am anxious to see the progress when it does get started. Good luck ...
