As I now have a new job working for Harley Davidson, a couple of guys decided that it wasn't suitable for me to have bikes with stabilisers on them, so I've ended up with this. It's a 2004 Suzuki Marauder GZ125 (I only have a CBT so 125cc is all I'm allowed )
13k on the clock, been garaged, and well looked after, but sadly not used much over the last few years, so a bit of a freshen up is required in regards to new throttle and choke cables, and the carb needing a clean through, but she rides spot on, and certainly a good bit of fun.
This is as I was given her:
First thing I did was get rid of the pillion seat. Can't carry them anyways, and it looks much better as a solo seat too
All I'll say, is that it is such a bizarre feeling having L plates on again. It just seems wrong.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Re: Suzubaiku
That was the bolt that held the pillion seat on. I'm gonna paint it black or get a chrome bolt in there.

Re: Suzubaiku
No idea. Obviously the previous owner liked it but even I can't fathom why.

New exhaust
Well, I knew it wouldn't be long till I did some more serious modification other than removing the pillion seat, and so yesterday, I took the exhaust system off, cut the old silencer off, and fitted a new one on. It still has a baffle in it, but I am tempted to remove the baffle to see just how much louder and meaner it sounds. It currently sounds a 100 times better, and I can actually be heard now too, so a blip of the throttle when filtering and people move out the way for me
Yes, that is basically just a straight pipe that happens to have a baffle in it
