Functionality on another forum

In general, LG has far more functionality than the FCF (which runs on the same software I think?) but in a recent upgrade, they included this, which is quite funky - basically when you mouse over the link to each thread, it pops up with this;

Dunno if it's useful or not, but it's quite funky :D

I can safely say that would get on my tits!

Does it disappear as soon as you move the mouse back off the title? What if you drag the mouse up to read the thread above, so that the mouse is over the writing that's just popped up, does it still disappear?

Haven't tried that Nafe. It only happens when I view the forum on the desktop, not via my mobile (which is how I view it most of the time)

You do have to be right over the thread link, rather than the whole grey strip area around the link - it would be intolerable if that was the case, I agree :lol:

Still don't see the point though. Seeing only the first and last post is how Nitin sees thread, and you know how confused and misinformed he gets :lol:

Useful to get a flavour on whether it's something you're interested in reading or not and whett a question asked has been answered, or there's still debate going on?

It's quite useful on that forum I think, when there are so many different cars the post could be about (any car from at least 3 marques!) and people are very bad at including the car in the header...

Maybe less so on this one :D

as wurly says you have to be right over it and it also dissapears after a set length of time

I'd want it to disappear as soon as you move the mouse of the title text. If it remained even just seconds after moving off it when I want to click on the thread above that would be really frustrating.

No, it disappears as soon as you mouse off each link.
