Subaru Forester STI Type 2 M
Hi all,
So while my Lude is tucked away for the winter I needed a more practical run around. Something I can comfortably go to work in as well as lug about my band equipment, not worry about weather and fit more than 2 people in with ease.
So I noticed this on Facebook for sale.
Subaru Forester STI Type 2 M.
So this is 1/800 made. Exclusively released in Japan, this was imported into the UK back in March. This comes with the EJ20 engine and the standard turbo. She has that lovely Scooby warble. 4WD. And shifts!!!
Standard these are 280bhp, but with the upgrades on mine she is in the 300 realms, but she does require a remap.
She has some nice upgrades on her already:
Cusco Coilovers
Front and rear upper strut brace
3" turbo back exhaust system
Walbro 255 fuel pump
540cc injectors
Uprated ARB front and rear
GFB blow off valve
Turbo Timer
XXR alloys
Upgraded speakers
Anyway....
Here's some JDM car porn.
The first picture is from the sale ad. Unfortunately the wind deflectors are not on the car anymore. Which is a shame as they are quite rare, similar to the Prelude ones.
Anyway this should keep my happy until summer comes round and I can bring out the Prelude.

I believe one was partially broke so they were removed. And yes I knocked some money off.
Haha very true. This is a big improvement over a FWD Ignis which weighed in at under 1000kg, especially in the wind and rain.RattyMcClelland wrote:What winter?

I would love 1 of these as a second car. And much prefer them over the imprezza

I'd hazard a guess that if you feel like selling this cme the summer, a previous member on here (sir si) might be interested - he used to have a standard Forester and I reckon this would be right up his street!!!
Or I could have it as a companion piece to the lad's Legacy?
