vanzep Hi Nick, sorry to come so late to the party, but does the car have those exterior window trims in good condition? By that I mean the plastic coated 'lipped' trims at the bottom of the driver's and passenger's windows.
Bloody phototossersbucket, I have a photo on there but obviously can't post it now.
I hope you understand my rather vague description.

Yes there are exterior trims on both doors - they have no chips or damage but the finish looks matte - they might clean up :?
They can be difficult to remove and im planning on keeping the passenger door complete.
I can let you know condition of the drivers (right hand) one once it has been removed.....

If you want perfect ones (which i think you do) then lings now show them as being available :)
This is good news as they were discontinued for many years. Cost is about £110 each.I think that is complete with the clips but youd have to double check.

Hi Nick and sorry for the late reply, but I've been away on business. I really appreciate your honesty on the difficulty of getting them out, and the consequences that may follow.
Your news about Lings is perfectly timed, and I'm grateful for letting me know that the trims are available again. I'm going to go the whole hog and order a pair and get them delivered to my mother's place in Halifax, where I'll be at Christmas. Obviously, with a cargo so precious, I'll take them back to Malaysia as carry-on.
Many thanks for your help and advice,Nick. It's much appreciated, Si. ;)

Mind it was all standard parts on this breaker except the kyb shocks - standard OEM parts always take a while to sell ;)
Ive got the engine out and will be taking a look at this week to see if it is worth stripping down and rebuilding :)
70,000kms mated to an auto box 8-)

But your BB4 had quite a bit of aftermarket shizzle so that should have sold a bit quicker - dare say your not that bothered as you did sell most of the car to buyer in USA via facebook and they pay good money for top condition/rare stuff.

Na I'm not bothered really. Only interest I had on here really was people wanting big money parts for £40 lol. Nvm most is gone anyway. Looks like people missed out lol
