Elle - the Legend
As she currently looks, after a damn good clean
It's been four years since my last Prelude took a Corsa to the arse in a fatal bumming incident, and since then I've been rolling around in a Volvo S60 (albeit one with a turbocharged 5 pot lump) - however, I'm pleased to announce I'm back in a Honda, though still not a prelude I'm afraid.
Here she is as I bought her, I'll chuck some deets after the pictures (as I know you all like pictures )
She was first registered 20 Dec 2007, and since than has covered just over 41,000 miles. One lady owner from new, and a full dealer service history. Everything works, everything feels brand new, and the spec list is huge.
Up front is a 3.5 litre SOHC VTEC V6 giving 291bhp and 259 lb/ft. This is coupled to a 5 speed auto with tiptronic and paddle shift, which then drives all four wheels via a ridiculously clever system called Super Handling All Wheel Drive (most Japanese sounding AWD system ever? ).
It's stupidly good fun, while also being one of the nicest cars I've experienced in terms of comfort and refinement.
Getting the timing belt done this Friday for peace of mind, then can see what she can do properly

Re: Elle - the Legend
Yeah the amount of covers is nuts, my mechanic is looking forward to doing the timing belt on FridayNafemanNathan wrote:I was about to comment, but then I saw that it's only a plastic toy!...
Yeah, the MPG you just don't think about - only way to stay sane. I quite like the alloys actually, polished 18's - a factory option at a mere £1300toadster wrote:LO
Very nice
I have been looking at these lately a lot of car for the money.
Only thing that puts Me off is the MPG figures.
Love the shape and the inside of these.
I would change the alloys but that's about it
Cheers
