I would not be able to stay away... I lay awake at night thinking about what my next upgrade is going to be....

Plastidip is cool.. But be aware if it does get damaged its hard to repair. it will always show if you spray over it again.
I did a set of wheels and they are still good.
Did my mid console but that got damaged on the edge and it started to pull back .
I must admit is was on aluminium and a sharp edge.

Try a few body panels first and see how you like it.
Give the areas directly in the airstream a few extra coats so if a sharp stone or debris hits it , it won't get damaged.
Remember a streetcar is not abused as much as your track tool!

Finally had the car out and driving at the weekend. We have a new lockup so I was moving the car there. It hasn't really moved since I had to take a break from competition but I was happy to see and feel that there isn't much up with the car despite it sitting still for ages. The rear arches will need attention again as they are not pretty. If forgot how quick and noisy it is

Merlin's 4G Time Attack Lude

4 years later and the car didn't move once it was parked up in the lockup. Now I have a new place, and she has been moved again. Overall, she is in ok condition, but the bodywork deffo needs attention. I was thinking that it was just the rear arches that needed done, but when I tried to jack the car at the rear, it was not good. So now the plan is for replacement sills and arches.
