If you can get to the premeet at Morrison's to collect the 'stand pass', I'm sure you'll get a space. You will of course still need to have bought your actual ticket.
Excellent stuff. Bit of an early start for the wife but once won't kill her. I'll be there at the Morrisons pre meet!

Now let's just hope the rain stops and I can get the car looking respectable!

Wash, clay bar, wash, polish.

Quick wax after dinner and give the wheels and windows a quick clean. Sod the inside lol.

This is what happens when you don't clean your car regularly...

Hopefully a good day had by all. Good to put some more faces to names. Nice convoy back with Richard (norks) up the A34...

Thanks again to Hans (Sailor) for organising the club stand and for letting me exhibit - my right shoulder has only just recovered from the hours of cleaning/polishing/waxing, not that the results were that obvious. Still respectable however I hope.

Lots of cars turned up - but a bit lacking in variety. Lots of new/popular stuff (skyline, mx5, etc), and a few of the older classics, bit not much from the 80s/90s.

On the subject of preludes - think in total there were 4 mk5, 1 mk4, and 1 mk1 which was lovely! Even the Mrs thought it was nice. Turns out she is now quite fond of a datsun 260Z!

Uploaded some of the photos i took to a new flickr account - hopefully the link is working ok.

Turns out I need to keep on practising photography - shame Nitin wasn't there to give me some pointers. Couple of non car ones on the end of that album, took lots more but left my camera in spot metering mode by mistake, and ended up with a lot of very dark photos... And there was me thinking bringing a digital camera was better than bringing my 50 year old japanese film camera!

I also put my camera into some auto mode that gave me lots of dark photos. I've culled these and am currently putting together a slide show of the event.
In the meantime, here's a short coffee-break vid of us getting to our stand:

It was an excellent day out and good to meet the crew. I've written to the Beaulieu Events team to thank them for the great location they gave us this year. C2 would be a good spot again, wouldn't it?
