I got a cheapy ebay clone eeprom reader/writer.

If someone with a chip isn't far from oxfordshire, i'm happy to travel, burn a copy on my laptop, if it works, then make a load, chips are cheap most likely (suspect just a couple of quid each).

Anyone got pictures of the chip / spec of what it is?

they are £20 posted for UK residents, so it would be a little more for postage over to AUS to yourself

Put me down for a 4th gen JDM P13 Manual V2 chip.
Had one from Rob before on my BB4 which was excellent and i will be asking Bluejackhustler to fit it to the ECU as he helped me out before.

I had a look at my spare 5th gen ECU, and the 'CPU' has both the RAM and ROM , so its unlikely to be easy to use any existing tools or similar to try and change the map - hence why everyone retrofits the older ECU i'm guessing (which has the separate rom chip and tools to adjust).
